Waking up at 5:30 in the morning to clean your living room, set the table, set the tea and coffee buffet, peel eggs and to stumble all over the place in a half dead manner might not sound appealing to you, but it all results in a very awesome thing called Breakfast Club.
My parents were a part of a youth ministry, Breakfast Club in the church that we attended before we moved to the town we are living in now. The kids would come at around 6:30AM, eat some sort of breakfast and hear someone-I don't really know much about it- talk about God and then the kids would leave for school. When we moved and my older brothers went high school, they had a lot of friends who knew very little about Christ and his unfathomable love for us. My parents felt a passion for them -as they do for all lost people in this world- and it resulted our own B.C. My family and I have been blessed by this and we are always hoping that the teens are too. Mommy, makes all kinds of fantastic food to feed to the hungry teens, including coffee cake, muffins, bagels and cream cheese, deviled eggs, spicy eggs and every week coffee, and two teas. Daddy prepares usually two songs that we listen to and then he puts a spin on them about God. It's great!
